EDSLoom is a proprietary engineering platform owned and operated by CAD Engineering Consulting Ltd (company no. 14527928, registered in England and Wales). The platform provides digital tools designed to assist professionals working in electrical distribution systems (EDS) and wire harness design. These tools are intended as productivity aids for qualified engineers and do not replace professional engineering judgement, physical testing, or OEM-specific design standards.
All rights reserved. The EDSLoom platform — including its tools, algorithms, calculation methods, workflows, user interface, visual design, data structures, source code, documentation, training materials, and all derivative works — is the exclusive intellectual property of CAD Engineering Consulting Ltd.
No part of the EDSLoom platform may be reproduced, copied, modified, adapted, translated, reverse engineered, decompiled, disassembled, distributed, sublicensed, sold, or otherwise exploited without prior written consent of CAD Engineering Consulting Ltd.
The name "EDSLoom", associated logos, and platform branding are trade marks of CAD Engineering Consulting Ltd. Unauthorised use of these marks is prohibited.
Access to full platform functionality requires a valid licence issued by CAD Engineering Consulting Ltd. Licences are granted on a per-user or per-organisation basis as specified at the point of issue. Licence codes are non-transferable and may not be shared, resold, or used by any party other than the named licensee.
Free tier and evaluation access is provided solely for assessment purposes. Commercial use under a free tier is not permitted. CAD Engineering Consulting Ltd reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any access tier at any time.
All calculations, outputs, and recommendations produced by EDSLoom tools are based on theoretical models and industry-standard formulae. Results are indicative only. Users must validate outputs through physical trials and testing in accordance with applicable OEM standards before use in any production or safety-critical application.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CAD Engineering Consulting Ltd shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the EDSLoom platform, including errors in tool outputs, loss of data, production downtime, rework costs, or any reliance placed on results generated by these tools.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, CAD Engineering Consulting Ltd's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the licence fees paid by the user in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
The EDSLoom platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or non-infringement.
Users acknowledge that the EDSLoom platform, its methods, algorithms, and internal logic constitute confidential and proprietary information of CAD Engineering Consulting Ltd. Users agree not to disclose or share such information beyond their permitted use. This obligation survives termination of any licence.
EDSLoom collects only the information necessary to operate the platform (name, email, company, and licence activations). We do not sell or share personal data with third parties. Data is stored securely via Supabase on EU-based infrastructure in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
These terms are governed exclusively by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
CAD Engineering Consulting Ltd reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
